SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT

So for my humanities class the boys had to write a poem requesting us to love, or marry them. Or pretty much to woe us. And we had to reject them. With some help from Katie. And MAJOR help from dad this was the final draft:
THE BOY'S POEM:
Come with me to the hills
We’ll take our guns
we’ll have some thrills
Nothing says love like the hunt
We’ll hold hands
while we shoot our guns
I think my favorite site to see
Is you in camo all pretty
With mud on your boots
And in your hair
I love you baby
I will scream in the air!
So what do you say?
Sounds like fun, eh?
Will you go?
We will leave today.

MY/DAD/KATIE'S Response:
I can not go to the hills with you,
The sun is too bright, the sky is too blue.
While tramping around with you and your gun
I might not remember that I live to have fun!
And I would love to look into your eyes,
But I'd rather be looking at butterflies.
You would lead me to animal dens
But what if I only want be friends?
I'll spend my days where the animal lives
Are not in danger from the guns and the guys.
